What’s more important to you in a story? Strong character work or totally original story?
I would have to say Strong Character work. There’s so much stuff done now a days that is a rehash of a story before it. Take Captain America and Batman. They’re both telling similar stories, but both have really good Character work in them. If one of the other had boring characters in it, then I wouldn’t be reading both.
