I would buy all the copies of this book if it were to ever happen.

Due to the inappropriate comments on this post, we will no longer be allowing comments on The Source until further notice.
My sincere apologies to those who came to this blog to actually discuss DC Comics and their books, but this back-and-forth has gotten out of control on this blog.
Posts have been - and will continue to be - deleted on both sides of this conflict. Your post may not have included any offensive words, but by continuing this dialogue, you are only escalating the problem. Therefore, any comment that is part of this back-and-forth will be deleted.
For those users who had nothing to do with this, I am very sorry for the inconvenience. We are working to make this site more hospitable to those who choose to comment properly and not take part in these offensive and inappropriate disputes.
DC cant quite make up their minds whether they want to hear from their readers or not. Disturbing, how quick people are to shut down interaction if commenters have anything other than buttlicking praise to say. DC Universe: The Source » Blog Archive » Who’s the Fastest? (via comicscavern)

This is not the way to handle this. It appears that they are taking the high road and doing something professional, but to me comes off as the opposite of professional. This was instigated when DC asked for responses from the fans on the Internet. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?! People acting like children on the Internet! What are we coming to these days!?
There’s an easy way to handle this, that makes them look better in the long run. Make rules for commenting and make sure someone is moderating them. This response makes the commenters seem at fault, it is not their fault for acting the way ALL commenters on the internet act. It is DC’s fault for not doing their job and moderating them to the fullest extent that they should be doing. Moderating comments can help shape your community.
I’m a firm defender of free speech, especially when you ask for people to exercise their use of it as this post did. At the same time I understand DC is a company and this is their blog, but taking away some of your community’s voice is the WRONG way to handle this situation. - Jon
